This year’s XDA developer conference (DevCon) was sponsored by Sony and held in Manchester, UK. We attended the event to meet new friends, gather market information and, most excitingly, launch our OBI4 smartphone! The event’s main emphasis is on establishing meaningful and sometimes unexpected collaborations between developers … and often it is at the unlikeliest nexus where the most brilliant creations are situated. So a conference for developers, by developers means there is already an established common denominator from which new ideas and relationships may be grown.
